GAPSA Executive Board has issued a formal statement reaffirming its commitment to international graduate and professional students. As scholars, colleagues, and leaders, our international students are integral to our community, to Penn's intellectual, cultural, and social life, and to the broader U.S. research enterprise.
Feedback and Comments of the Graduate and Professional Student Community Concerning the Compact for Academic Excellence in Higher Education

In response to recent invitation to the Compact, GAPSA launched a rapid, anonymous survey to gather feedback from our constituents to gauge perspectives on whether Penn should sign the Compact and, more importantly to understand how the Compact speaks to larger issues in higher education.
Statement of Support for the Brown University Community
December 16, 2025
GAPSA Executive Board issued a formal statement following the December 13 shooting at Brown University, extending condolences to those affected, affirming solidarity with Brown as a fellow Ivy+ institution, and encouraging Penn graduate and professional students to use campus mental health and wellness resources as needed.
