Fund Management

Mark Bray is a fourth-year graduate student in the Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics program in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. n his research, he combines experimental and computational biophysical methods to understand the functional role of a cryptic pocket in the pathologically essential but “undruggable” Ebola viral protein, VP35IID. Through his work, Mark hopes to expand our understanding of protein dynamics and develop new ways of drugging classically “undruggable” disease targets. For the 2025-2026 academic year, he serves as the Director of Fund Management in the GAPSA Finance Division. Outside of research, he enjoys reading, running, and football.
