Nene Onyedi Ibezim

Data Analytics

Nene Onyedi Ibezim is a Penn GSE–UNESCO Fellow currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Educational Development at the University of Pennsylvania. She brings over seven years of experience in education and social development, with a strong focus on grassroots stakeholder engagement, teacher training, and data-driven social impact.

As Director of Data Analytics for GAPSA, Nene leads the development of systems and standards to enhance how GAPSA collects, organizes, and uses data across its many divisions. In this role, she designs accessible reporting tools, establishes data management protocols, and collaborates with GAPSA teams to strengthen organizational effectiveness through evidence-based decision-making.

Originally from Nigeria, Nene holds a B.A. Ed. in English Education from the University of Lagos and a Postgraduate Diploma in Liberal Studies from Ashoka University in India. She was recently named a 2025 Lipman Family Prize Fellow, an honor recognizing emerging leaders dedicated to social impact and ethical leadership development.

Nene is particularly interested in how localized strategies and data systems can drive educational reform, build teacher capacity, and support community-led development. As a global thinker with a grassroots lens, she remains committed to advancing inclusive, contextually grounded, and sustainable solutions in education worldwide.
