Tina Cheung

Tina Cheung (she/her) is a first-generation college graduate and professional from the San Francisco Bay Area. She is currently a Global Program Manager in Talent Acquisition at Visa, where she oversees the employee referral program, leverages data for insights and storytelling to optimize recruiting strategies, enhance performance, and boost employee engagement. Tina also consults on system transformation projects, HR tool enhancements, and reporting for internal stakeholders. Prior to joining Visa, Tina managed projects for Twitter's global business resource groups and provided DEI strategy at AnitaB.org, driving programs for over 80 partner companies and sponsors. A former community organizer, Tina is dedicated to supporting low-income communities and promoting equitable access to resources, reflecting her passion for fostering a more inclusive workplace and world.
Outside of her professional role, Tina co-leads the Visa Asians Standing Together (VAST) Employee Resource Group's Bay Area Chapter and serves as the North America Community Engagement Lead. In these roles, she drives community engagement, promotes a sense of belonging and culture, advances talent, and impacts business while enhancing employee engagement and professional development. Known as a "force of nature," Tina's commitment to social impact initiatives has inspired other chapters, ERG leaders, and partners both within and outside of Visa. Her leadership has earned her the North America Leadership Award, North America ERG Leadership Impact Award, and the Global Community Engagement Award from Visa.
Additionally, Tina serves on the Board of Directors for Wah Mei School in San Francisco and the Asian Alumni Board for the University of San Francisco. She is currently pursuing a part-time graduate degree in non-profit leadership, social impact, and corporate social responsibility at the University of Pennsylvania. Tina enjoys traveling (having visited over 40 countries), good coffee, and taking walks with her foster dog, Thor, a giant male Alaskan Malamute from China.
