MEANINGFUL SCORING: STAR RATING vs RAW vs ALL
Each category, question or landlord has a star rating that reflects how they compare to ALL surveys for the current date period. For example, a landlord may score a RAW average of 4.54 but that will not necessarily yield an excellent 5 star RATING. The star RATING reflects the comparison of the RAW average to the average of ALL surveys using some fraction of the standard deviation. For example, if the ALL surveys average is 3.5662, with st. dev. 1.4082, you actually need a RAW average of ~4.63 or higher for a 5 stars RATING.
Basically, you should interpret the RATING as Poor, Fair, Average, Good or Excellent based on 1 to 5 stars. For example if the rating is Good (4 stars), the landlord has a good score compared to others surveyed.

2009-02-09 ![]() Overall Domus is an exceptional place to live. The building was completed at the end of 2007, so all appliances and fixtures are still almost new and have held up well. The maintenance requests are done online, and usually processed same day or soon after. They have had some issues with the fire alarm system going off falsely with a freezing pipe or other issue, but at least it works. There have been some minor thefts from the attached garage, which the staff should address more promptly. In general, however, it is very nice and does its best to address resident issues. 2008-12-09 ![]() Good in most ways except for the cheap appointments in the apartments that fall apart easily (i.e. cabinets). Also did not rectify (and seems to refuse to rectify) a potential major security breach between Starbucks and the lobby. Residents carelessly leave door open to shop after hours while the front door is locked and nonresidents can easily enter the clubhouse area. Back to top | |||
